Vietnam and UAE Sign Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA)

Vietnam and the UAE signed a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), marking Vietnam’s first free trade agreement with a Middle Eastern country. The CEPA aims to enhance trade and investment opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, energy, technology, and logistics. Under the agreement, the UAE will eliminate tariffs on 99% of Vietnamese exports, while Vietnam will remove tariffs on 98.5% of UAE exports.
